We had an outstanding crowd of 121 community and regional members at the Ramsdell on Saturday, February 15 to view the photography exhibit and listen to a lecture on Zakopane, Poland. We had the privilege of hearing a lecture by Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies and lecturer Dr. Kate Wroblewski.

Sponsors of the event include the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Greater Manistee-Ludington. The polka music by Virgil Baker and the Just for Fun Band was lovely. We had delicious food provided by Two Slices of Manistee and a selection of paczki for guests to try.

Major thanks UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN Copernicus CENTER FOR POLISH STUDIES, CULTURE.PL ADAM MICKIEWICZ INSTITUTE and the Tatra Museum in Poland for their collaborative spirit to make this a reality for Manistee residents.

The exhibit will be up until March 27, 2020. The times available are during business hours (Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri) from 10am – 5pm. For more details, to go www.RamsdellTheatre.org/art-exhibits
