With three unique venues, the Ramsdell is the place to go for your perfect wedding or private event. From the beautifully restored theatre for your ceremony (seats 500) to our gallery space for your pre-reception (seats 100) and finally, to the grand ballroom for your reception (seats 250). Theatre

The theatre is a turn of the century design and is one of the best small town theatres in the country. Lovingly restored over the last decade, the theatre seats 500 (240 main floor, 20 box seats, 240 in balcony) and is ready for your performance or production. Modern light, sound and naturally good acoustics make this a perfect venue for your event. The proscenium is 26′ wide x 26′ high, the stage is 38′ deep with just over 15′ of wing space stage left and right. WIFI available.

The Grand Ballroom

The Rotary Grand Ballroom is one of the most elegant facilities in northwest Michigan. Its unmatched presence reduces the need to decorate, as the space resonates with classic simplicity and flair. With a seated capacity of 250, it is perfect for that once in a lifetime wedding reception or anniversary party.

The space includes a catering kitchen with warmers, coolers and a freezer; comfortable tables and chairs, wi-fi and elevator accessibility. The dimensions of the hall seating area are 50′ x 75′. The Ballroom is a perfect choice for your big event.

Hardy Hall

Named after local businessman and entrepreneur Thomas Walter Hardy, Hardy Hall is a smaller, more intimate venue for graduation parties or small group events. Hardy Hall is also an active art gallery. Seating 100, you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and woodwork for your event. The dimensions of the hall are 44′ x 55′. Wi-Fi is available.
