Wordsmith Workshop
Writing Series
First and Third Saturday of the Month (ongoing)
Intro: No matter your experience or style, the Writers’ Workshop welcomes you to our bi-monthly gathering where we discuss and practice our craft. Each meeting will focus on a specific topic that poets and authors alike can explore to expand their understanding of the medium and the breadth of their own skills. Iron sharpens iron, as one writer sharpens another. On the first and third Saturdays of each month, from noon to 2pm, the Ramsdell Theater will be host to writers like you. We hope to see you there!
Bio: Ellis Merel is a writer and artist transplanted from the Central Valley of California. Ever since they discovered the spoken word poetry scene in high school circa 2013, they’ve been in love with performance and poetry ever since. In addition to their love for writing fiction and prose, they’ve been known to draw every once in a while.
You can find their published work and socials through https://ellismerel.carrd.co/
