The mind of an artist is seldom still. There are ideas all around us, each waiting to be explored. It is this desire to search and experiment that has driven Mary Wahr to become an eclectic, experimental artist. Mary’s retrospective begins with a charcoal from high school then moves through her life of exploration. The show includes drawing, painting, printmaking, paper casting, scratchboards, and collage. One highlight is her work in fractals, which she developed while getting her Masters in Art Education. Then while waiting out her ‘stay at home orders’ Mary used printmaking as a diversion. You are sure to see something to make you smile, think, and maybe laugh.
Opening on Friday, October 16! Available through November 13. The exhibit is available for viewing on Friday only from 12pm – 3pm. Due to COVID-19, guests will be asked to reserve a time and day online.
